Latest Case Studies
M1 Junction Improvements
The junction experienced significant queues and delays, particularly at peak times. The project involved the removal of the roundabout and widening of the M1 spur road to three lanes. This provided a continuous east-west carriageway with a speed limit of 50mph.
East Kent Access Road Improvement
The project delivered 8km of dual carriageway, reducing congestion, improving connectivity with Dover & Ramsgate Ports & Kent Airport. Phase two of the Improvement Scheme was the biggest highway project undertaken by Kent County Council.
Dover Western Docks Revival
This project was an exciting evolution of the Port, delivering long-term capacity for a key international gateway handling trade to the value of £119bn representing up to 17% of UK trade in goods. It included the transformation of waterfront with a new marina pier and curve.
